ANDROID · EARLY TEST RELEASE
Meet AnguBrowser: one browsing view, a straightforward address bar, and the controls you actually need.
Bare website addresses default to HTTPS. Search words are sent to DuckDuckGo, with no app-operated search backend.
Back, Forward, Reload/Stop and Home. A load indicator and clear error messages help explain what is happening.
Certificate errors are cancelled with no bypass. HTTP navigation, mixed content and arbitrary external-app launching are blocked.
RELEASE 0.1.0
This is an early, debug-signed Android app—not a production release or an app-store listing. The website is a product/download page, not a browser running in your web page.
Download the APK, then open it on your Android device. Android may ask whether to allow installation from this source. Review the prompt; do not disable Play Protect or bypass a security warning. The app requests INTERNET permission only.
Keep any existing apps installed until you have reviewed this test release. Future test APKs signed with a different key may require uninstalling this version, which removes its local data.

PRIVACY & LIMITS
The app itself has no analytics backend or analytics SDK, and no accounts. Searches go to DuckDuckGo; visited websites and platform providers have their own privacy and logging policies.
JavaScript and website DOM storage are enabled for compatibility. First-party cookies, cache and local storage can persist in the app. Third-party cookies are disabled. This is not an incognito browser, an anonymity tool or a no-logs guarantee. Home clears the visible page, not stored website data; use Android’s app storage controls to reset local data.
File/content access is disabled and there is no JavaScript-to-native bridge. Platform Safe Browsing is enabled where supported, but neither it nor HTTPS guarantees that a website is trustworthy. No location, camera, microphone or storage permission is requested.
